post guestbooks, diaries, email, and more without
using a Web browser.

palaver is a multi-user chat component for Jabber
and XMPP servers. The intention is to support all
features of XEP-0045, as well as the relevant
extended discovery features of XEP-0128.

independent, stylistic bbs (bulletin board)
scripting environment for unix/linux. It is
reminiscent ansi/ascii glory of days past.

Easy Cast du Multi Hub (ecmh) is a networking
daemon that acts as a full IPv6 MLDv1 multicast
router. This allows IPv6 multicast routing on
Linux. It will also allow IPv4 to IPv6 and IPv6 to
IPv4 translation of multicast traffic, allowing
multicast where it is not yet available otherwise.
This code runs on the SixXS POPs, where this
daemon runs on the POPs and let it easily do
multicast IPv6. This allows the m6bone to grow and
provide IPv6 multicast to end users. Users can
deploy this software to enable their networks with
multicast.

JabberTools is a set of console and Web-based Perl tools depending on Net::Jabber that makes it easier to use Jabber and convert to using Jabber from other instant messaging systems (e.g., AOL and ICQ). The tools include a Jabber account manager and an importer that converts your previous contact lists/rosters/buddy lists into your Jabber roster.

hasciicam-pwc is a quick and dirty hack of
hasciicam to make it work with Philips webcams.
Hasciicam is an ascii-art imagegrabber for
webcams.

The Two Dimensional Spatialization of Sound package takes a single monaural sound signal and processes it to create a binaural signal that places the source of the sound at a selectable arbitrary place around the listener. The package makes use of a set of HRTF Measurements of a KEMAR Dummy-Head Model created by Bill Gardner and Keith Martin of the MIT Media Lab. The sound spatialization software is ANSI C, and can be ported to any platform which will support the sound I/O requirements. The package also includes an FFT written in well-structured C.

erikyyyphone is a very old internet audio conferencing application. The last version was december 1996. It has now been updated to nowadays library status and added autoconf+automake. Multiple persons can talk to each other. It uses very little bandwith and can handle network lags intelligently.

EasyNote is an application wich offers a means to
take notes through writring or drawing and to
share a note on the local network while editing
it. It's a digital notebook.

DrawPile is a drawing program that allows multiple
people to draw on the same picture at the same
time. DrawPile offers simple drawing tools geared
towards sketching and has support for tablet
pressure sensitivity.

Kopete SILC is an SILC protocol plugin for Kopete,
the KDE Instant Messenger. It is based on libsilc,
which is part of the SILC Toolkit.

Senility is a multi-protocol instant messenger for the
GNOME desktop. It has a status tray icon for
GNOME, and provides integration with the desktop.

OcamlSpread is a wrapper around the Spread group communication toolkit
(http://www.spread.org) for the Objective Caml programming language.
OcamlSpread not only wraps Spread functions, but adds an object-oriented
interface and other valuable features.

enigma 3 is a Web-starting Java Jabber client
with audio and voice chat support.
