Hirudo is a Java Swing application for leeching
Web content. It features a multipurpose workspace where links can be extracted from a URL, manipulated, and filtered. The workspace can also be used to generate filename ranges. Other features include editable Referer and User Agent headers, a reliable download manager, and comprehensive user preferences.

manage filename filters in the Scraper/Generator results lists. Window
size and position are now saved in user Preferences, all text buttons
have been replaced with icons and placed in Tool Bars, a Splash screen
has been added, a new button for stopping the download process has been
added, and unsupported characters in URLs are now encoded. There are
also numerous bugfixes and tweaks.
