Netfarm is a mail filter written in Python that parses all incoming/outcoming mails and extracts some fields. Then it passes this info to a Zope server using XMLRPC, and Zope stores it into a DBMS (tested with PostgreSQL). The filter also backs up mail on the filesystem.
