Installed teraTerm 4.97 in Windows7 x64. Opened a Serialport connection with the given baudrate and other settings as prescribed in the board manual. On starting the connection, I see only symbols in the terminal. (Please check the attached screenshot)

In my case the issue got resolved when I used the TTL based rs232-usb converter cable.
