Tera Term is Tera Term Pro 2.3 succession version and is being officially recognized by the original author. Tera Term is open source free software terminal emulator supporting UTF-8 protocol. Now TTSSH supports SSH2 protocol (Original version supports SSH1).

  • Changes
    • added support for the configuring of the permitted ISO/IEC 2022 shift functions.
      • added the ISO2022ShiftFunction entry in the teraterm.ini file. The default is on.
    • added configuration of timestamp format at the start of log file's line.
      • added the LogTimestampFormat entry in the teraterm.ini file. The default is "%a %b %e %H:%M:%S.%N %Y".
      • The default format is changed to RFC 3339 style. Specify the "%a %b %e %H:%M:%S.%N %Y" at the LogTimestampFormat entry to restore before format.
    • UTC can be used at timestamp format at the start of log file's line.
      • added the LogTimestampUTC entry in the teraterm.ini file. The default is off.
    • Hidden font set by OS can be selected with font setting dialog.
      • The setting can be configured on the General tab of Additional settings dialog.
    • When the serial port and named pipe can not be opened, the error message contains reason or error code.
    • When the sendlnbroadcast macro command is used, the carriage return is sent one more time after last parameter.
    • added the sendlnmulticast command.
  • Bug fixes
    • The response of DECLRMM status query by DECRQM was invalid.
    • PrnConvFF can not be loaded from TERATERM.INI file.
    • sendbroadcast and sendlnbroadcast macro command does not work.
    • sendbroadcast, sendlnbroadcast and sendmulticast macro command can't send the character of 0x00 or 0x01.
  • Misc
    • upgraded TTSSH to 2.82.
    • upgraded Oniguruma to 6.6.0.

  • Changes
    • added support for the PuTTY format ECDSA private key and Ed25519 private key for SSH2 public key authentication.
    • added support for the SECSH(ssh.com) format ECDSA private key for SSH2 public key authentication.
    • added support for dynamic port forwarding (SOCKS Proxy).
    • Output format of some debug log is changed.
  • Bug fixes
    • The remote-to-local port forwarding which added after connecting to the server does not be enabled on SSH2 connection.
    • When the terminal size is changed, right terminal size (pixel count) is notified to server on SSH1 connection.
    • The SSH_MSG_UNIMPLEMENTED message is not handled correctly.
    • Garbage is output in the debug log.
  • Misc
    • upgraded OpenSSL to 1.0.2l.
    • upgraded PuTTY to 0.70.

  • 変更
    • 許可する ISO/IEC 2022 のシフト機能を設定できるようにした。
      • teraterm.ini に ISO2022ShiftFunction エントリを追加した。デフォルトは on。
    • ログの行頭に追加するタイムスタンプのフォーマットを指定できるようにした。
      • teraterm.ini に LogTimestampFormat エントリを追加した。デフォルトは"%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S.%N"。
      • デフォルトのフォーマットは RFC 3339 形式に変更された。以前のフォーマットに戻すには LogTimestampFormat に "%a %b %e %H:%M:%S.%N %Y" を設定する。
    • ログの行頭に追加するタイムスタンプの時刻にUTCを使用できるようにした。
      • teraterm.ini に LogTimestampUTC エントリを追加した。デフォルトはoff。
    • OSで非表示に設定されているフォントをフォント設定ダイアログで選択できるようにする設定を追加した。
      • Additional settingsダイアログの General タブで設定を有効化できるようにした。
    • シリアルポートおよび名前付きパイプが開けなかった時、エラーメッセージで理由やエラーコードを表示するようにした。
    • sendlnbroadcast マクロコマンドで、改行を送信するのを最後のパラメータの後の一回だけに変更した。
    • sendlnmulticast マクロコマンドを追加した。
  • バグ修正
    • DECRQM 制御シーケンスで DECLRMM の状態を正しく返さない問題を修正した。
    • PrnConvFF が TERATERM.INI から読み込まれない問題を修正した。
    • sendbroadcast / sendlnbroadcast マクロコマンドが正しく働かない問題を修正した。
    • sendbroadcast / sendlnbroadcast / sendmulticast マクロコマンドで、0x00, 0x01 が正しく送れない問題を修正した。
  • その他
    • TTSSH(2.82)へ差し替えた。
    • Oniguruma 6.6.0へ差し替えた。

  • 変更
    • SSH2 公開鍵認証で、PuTTY 形式の ECDSA 秘密鍵および Ed25519 秘密鍵に対応した。
    • SSH2 公開鍵認証で、SECSH(ssh.com) 形式の ECDSA 秘密鍵に対応した。
    • Dynamic ポート転送転送 (SOCKS Proxy) に対応した。
    • 一部のデバッグログの出力形式を変更した。
  • バグ修正
    • SSH2 接続時、リモートからローカルへのポート転送をサーバ接続後に追加しても有効にならない問題を修正した。
    • SSH1 接続時の端末サイズ変更通知で、正しい端末サイズ(ピクセル数)を通知するように修正した。
    • SSH_MSG_UNIMPLIMENTED メッセージを正しく扱えていない問題を修正した。
    • デバッグログでゴミが出力される問題を修正した。
  • その他
    • OpenSSL 1.0.2lへ差し替えた。
    • PuTTY 0.70 へ差し替えた。
