Details

以下を確認しました。

• Windows 7 sp1 x64
• NVDA jpdev120502 （システムにインストールされた環境）および本家スナップショット nvda_snapshot_main-5152 （ライブ環境）
• 現象：コントロールパネル「ハードウェアとサウンド」の「デバイスマネージャー」で開くウィンドウのメニューおよびツリービューの内容を読み上げない。

本家の NVDA-support メーリングリストのスレッド "How to read device manager" (2011年9月27日）で同様の質問があり、

• I suspect you're using a portable version. As documented in the User Guide, only installed release versions can read apps running as administrator, which includes Device Manager and the like. This is a security restriction enforced by Windows.

という James Teh 氏のコメントがついています。

ユーザーガイドの日本語版だけでなく英語版にも明確な記述が見当たりませんが。。

日本語版が本家のリリース版と同じようなセキュリティ権限を取れていない可能性があるので、現時点ではコンポーネント本家ではなく、未定にしておきます。

自己署名証明書つきの scons に成功したので、確認してみました。

• lp:nvdajp 4235
• scons launcher certFile=selfsigned.pfx publisher=nvdajp release=1 version=dummy

これをインストールして実行したところ UAC の設定が「上から2番目」「一番下」のいずれの場合においても、デバイスマネージャーのツリービューの内容が読み上げできることを確認しました。
