This is the first release candidate of the new major version of Zabbix. It introduces lots of new improvements, including low-level discovery, proxy-based WEB monitoring, an improved frontend, new network icons, displaying of host groups on maps, automatic collection of inventory data, and many other features. It also delivers much better performance, thanks to a trigger caching module.
