XPath Methods allows XPath queries on ParsedXML XML documents (and possibly other DOM implementations) in Zope. XPath is a relatively simple but still quite powerful query language used to address portions of XML documents. When you call an XPath Method you will retrieve a set of DOM nodes which you can then display in a Web page using DTML or ZPT, or which you can issue operations upon using, for instance, Python scripts.

Aiakos is an innovative distributed authentication
system, based on Zope and Plone. Much of the heavy
lifting is done using the LDAPUserFolder product
by Jens Vagelpohl. Aiakos allows you to provide a
central sign-on system for a network of Web sites.
All login and registration activity takes place on
the central Aiakos server. Participating sites
receive encrypted authentication packages from the
authentication server, with which they can
authenticate users.

NuxUserGroups is a Zope product that adds the
notion of groups of users. Groups provide a level
of indirection in the user -> roles mapping, which
provides greater flexibility. The groups are
defined and managed in the User Folder. They are
then used at the local roles level, where you can
define an additional mapping of groups -> roles,
thus giving the users who belong to these groups
additionnal local roles. A workgroup can be
defined simply and managed in a centralized manner.

Keylime for Zope is a set of generic objects to
facilitate fast SQL application development. It
offers the following objects, which can be used
or overridden: htmlView, htmlInsert, formInsert,
formUpdate, and htmlDelete. It uses Folder
properties to define sqlTable, sqlKey, and
sqlUniq so that the application will function
using generic or overridden forms. Infinitely
hierarchical SQL applications can be written very
quickly. Sample apps and a Zope installation
guide are included.

Bika is a combined LIMS (laboratory information
management system), workflow, and Web content
management system.

Railroad is a standards-based repository for large
binary files such as digital media, along with
their metadata. It is designed to be easy to
integrate with content management systems and
other client software.

Virtual Collaboratory is a Web-based collaboration application that features a directed discussion
forum based on Mailman providing for threaded short and long term discussions. It includes a calendaring function, integration with the Elluminate meeting
software, document exchange, version control,
a research resource center, custom categorizations, FAQs, and the ability to search for users with similar interests.

ZShell is an external Zope method which allows you to manipulate the ZODB using standard Unix shell commands from within Zope's Management Interface in your Web browser.

With Zope Object Files and the 'zof_install'
associated script, you can work on Zope objects
directly on the filesystem and install them to a
Zope server with a simple makefile (exporting is
also provided). Meta-data instances are stored in
a simple XML file with pointers to data documents.
It is used in production, but some objects do not
work.

zOpen Directory lets a Web site developer integrate all of the content of the
Open Directory Project (ODP, Dmoz.org) into a Zope website. Since zOpen
Directory works by downloading and parsing data from Dmoz.org only when such
data is needed, there is no need to download the entire database. The tool is
conveniently internationalized, and it features automatic language detection
and the ability to run different versions in bilingual or multilingual Web
sites. Currently supported languages include English, Basque, Spanish, French,
Dutch, Catalan, German, and Italian.

The Autotoolset package complements the GNU build
system by providing automatic generation of legal
notices, automatic generation of GNITS-standard
directory trees, a rudimentary portability
framework for C++ programs, support for writing
portable software that uses both Fortran and C++,
additional support for writing software
documentation in Texinfo and LaTeX, and a manual
introducing both Autotools and the GNU build
system in a unified task-oriented manner.

Appy (Applications in Python) is a bunch of tools for developing applications using the Python programming language. The framework features two main modules: gen and pod.
