The GNOME Wireless Applet is a wireless link quality monitor panel applet for GNOME. It reads the link quality out of /proc/net/wireless and reports quality by altering color, like a mood ring. It also provides a management console (GUI) to change wireless extension settings, including encryption keys, power management, and operation mode.

PwG is a small tool which generates secure, random passwords. It's
able to interoperate with PwM-Password-Manager.

wxCL is an industrial strength GUI library for
application programmers that is portable across
Common Lisp implementations and operating system
platforms. It builds upon wxWidgets.

rotn rotates the alpha characters in text files by a specified amount (defaults to 13). This is bascially a ROT13 encoder/decoder, except you can specify the number to rotate by (including negatives).

LnxFire is a Linux & Gnome firewall tool for the small business owner. Use the firewall creation wizard to create a basic firewall. It features dynamic rule modifiers, proactive monitoring, reporting, email alerts, system file monitoring, and auto lockout for port scanners.

Mini FTP Daemon is an FTP server that runs on a
PalmOS device. You can use it together with a FTP
client on your desktop computer in order to
transfer files to and from your device. Under some
circumstances, this might be better for you than
other methods.

Powermanja is a Java port of "powermanga", which
is an arcade 2D shoot-em-up game with 42 levels,
14 guardians, and more than 200 sprites. It runs
in 320x200 or 640x400 pixels. It runs on J2SE and
some J2ME (MIDP 2.0/CLDP 1.1) enabled systems. SWT
is also supported.

LsdlDoom is a port of Doom, the original 3D shoot'em'up game. It is based on LxDoom, and includes all of its features such as network and joystick support, as well as some new ones. Its goal is to support all platforms SDL supports, and is currently tested on Linux and Windows. It has merged with PrBoom and LxDoom, which added things like OpenGL and other advanced features, that is available at prboom.sourceforge.net. The original version of LsdlDoom is still available if you just want doom, and dont need the fancy stuff.

sctl is used to control the Bearcat BC895xlt, BC245, BC780, and Radio Shack PRO-2052 trunk tracking scanners. It can read and set memory contents and a numerous settings, and will display and change the current status (e.g. scanning, trunk scanning, etc.). It can also download/store and upload memory bank contents.

SCSU is a Standard Compression Scheme for Unicode, implemented for PHP and JavaScript. It's suitable for better LZF compression for UTF-8 strings and is based on the Java source of SCSU by Unicode, Inc. Its PHP classes are self-documented by PHPDoc tags, and its JavaScript class by JSDoc tags.

MWhois is a highly configurable and feature-laden whois lookup script written in both PHP and Perl. It features whois querying, a domain name wizard for creating domain names from information provided, and a global domain name wizard to search through all domain types. All of MWhois was created using template files to make sure that the script integrates well with your Web site.

galleryscr.pl is a script that fetches images from
an online gallery or local directory structure and
creates a random image collage. It features
inclusion or exclusion of specific images, random
or sequential selection of images, and various
output options. It can be useful for creating
images for a screensaver.
