There was official news from Arch:
https://archlinux.org/news/git-migration-announcement/
It looks like the Git package migration will take place from the morning of May 19 to 21.
Details of the reorganisation
- extra / community - Merge the former as a surviving repository. After the merger, the latter becomes an empty repository.
- testing / staging - was divided into "core-*" and "extra-*".
Solution
After the migration is complete (notice will be sent out on the mailing list "arch-dev-public", so please check it frequently), please change the description of "/etc/pacman.conf".
- For normal usage, it is sufficient to delete "community".
- If "testing" is valid, divide it into "core-testing" and "extra-testing" (the same applies to "staging").
